A magnificent specimen of the American bison I believe. Wonderful! The raw power of nature with his eye on you. I would still be running away!
Indeed, it is a bison!! He was fantastically majestic! And also much easier to photograph than the two I scrambled up an embankment to see! Running away rarely occurs to me! :)
